Looks like its going to be the ‘birth of the year`. A whopping Rs 250 crore has been bet on which date Aishwarya Rai is going to deliver her baby. And interestingly, 11.11.11 seems to be bookies` favourite date.
Ever since Amitabh Bachchan announced Ash’s pregnancy news on Twitter earlier this year, bookies across the country are placing their bet on the gender of the baby.
And with Ash’s due date approaching, it seems that 11.11.11 is supposed to be the date on which bookies have placed their bet on.
Few days back, rumours were doing the rounds that Bachchan’s themselves wanted the baby to arrive on November 11 and Ash was set to undergo a C-section. But both daddy Abhishek and grand pa Big B have vehemently denied the news.
Speaking to a daily, a Mumbai-based bookie said, "There are a lot of bets being placed on dates between November 9 and 14. The money riding on it is at least 150 crores which may go up in the coming week. November 11 is the hot favourite amongst bookies. The second most speculated date is November 14, which is Children`s Day.".
