Here is a lowdown on the
baby of the moment. Film actors Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek
Bachchan became proud parents of a baby girl on Wednesday at 10:30 in
the morning.
Aishwarya delivered her first child at
the upscale Seven Hills Hospital in Andheri (E) in Mumbai amidst high
security. The entire fifth floor of the hospital was cordoned off for
the Bachchan and the Rai family.
The hospital authorities went all out to provide extra security to the actress. Police vans were seen parked within the hospital premise. No one was allowed to sit or stand at the lobby or near the entrance.
Aishwarya delivered under the supervision of Dr Vinita Salve. When a daily asked a doctor more details about the celebrity patient, the doctor refused to divulge any kind of details as they were under a non-disclosure contract.
However, speaking to the daily, a ward boy revealed, “Both mother and the child are in good health. The baby girl is a replica of her mother. She has the same features and her eyes are like Ash and she weights between six and seven pounds."
The hospital staff said that they are expecting lot of VVIP guests in the coming few days and the security around the area would remain tight.
When asked how long Ash is expected to stay in the hospital, the staff refused to comment on it.
