Now-a-days everybody knows channels
are playing gimmicks for TRP of reality shows. We can watch in audition round the
judges are unfair, how they play with the feelings of boy or girl, discourage
them and this all just to entertain the audience. It is very surprising and
shocking when happens with really talented contestants. Nobody thinks what
impact it would leave on genuine talent.
One of the victims is singer Swati
Sharma. She had a very bad experience when went for audition at Kolkata. It is
said that reality shows give platform to real talents but seeing what happened
with Swati we can say such is the reality behind reality shows. Thankfully
Janet’s Casting Hub recognised her talent and signed for an album TU MERI JAAN.
All the songs are written, composed and sung by Swati in this album.
Swati has grown up with music
atmosphere in her home. Her father always encouraged, did all the things so
that Swati can learn more and more about music. She says, “I have learned
Indian classical for five years from Prachin Kala Kendra, Chandigarh
University. Also trained under music teacher Pankaj Maharaj. Earlier I have
given audition for Saregama in 2007 but was not eligible due to young age.”
Today her twenty devotional albums are already released. She wrote four songs,
sung and composed with music director Pintu Mitra at Kolkata.
About signing Swati for the album TU
MERI JAAN producer Janet said, “When we heard CD of songs sung by Swati we were
stunned. What a talent she is. When we heard her experience of reality show it
was shocking. I decided to make an album with her as such a talented young
singer must got a chance, should be appreciated, encouraged. There are four
songs we are recording and shooting and two more to go.”
The guy from ad world Ravi Bhatia is
directing the videos. He is ready with his Hindi film TWO LITTLE INDIANS which
will release soon. The choreographer is Muddasar Khan who has worked with
Salman Khan in Ready, Dabangg, Bodyguard and next is ‘Bol Bachchan’. The album
will be released by Venus.
Further Swati adds, “I want to become
a playback singer, want to make my own identity. This album is my step towards
it.”
Swati is die-hard fan of Salman Khan since childhood. “It is my wish to
meet Salman and sing for him. All the songs of album TU MERI JAAN I dedicate to
him,” concludes Swati.
